Who this is for
Clear Phone Offer (Clear Phone Offer) uses this site to quote, receive, inspect, pay for, or return used phones. Contact: [email protected].
Information we collect
When you request a quote we store:
- First name, last name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code
- Device details you select (manufacturer, model, storage, carrier) and your condition and eligibility answers
If you send a message through the contact form, we store that message.
After an offer is accepted we collect payout destination details for the method you choose. Methods currently offered in settings may include PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, check, or other. We collect only what that method needs (for example an email, username, phone number, or mailing address for a check). We do not collect bank logins, account passwords, routing numbers as a login, Social Security numbers, or identity documents. Please do not send those.
After intake we may record IMEI, serial number, measured battery health, inspection checklist results, and internal inspection notes. Public quote pages mask IMEI and serial. Internal notes are not shown to you.
We record shipping carrier, tracking, and related dates when a label is created outside this site and entered by us. We record payout status and amounts. Customer action links use random tokens; we store a hash of the token, not the live token, with an expiry (currently 7 days unless changed in settings).
How we use it
- To estimate, confirm, revise, or decline an offer
- To arrange shipping, returns, and payment
- To verify the device is in a condition we can resell
- To email you transactional updates about your quote
- To keep operational records of the transaction
How we store and share it
Payout destination details are encrypted at rest in the application database. They are not placed in URLs, ordinary application logs, audit logs, or analytics. Admin list views show a masked destination. The full destination is shown only on the owner payout screen.
Transactional email is sent through a mail provider we configure (development uses a local log; production is intended to use a transactional provider such as Resend). Those messages include your quote reference and a status link. They do not include Atlas values, margin, internal notes, IMEI, serial, admin addresses, or a full payout destination. A payment-sent message may include a masked destination.
We do not sell your information. This application does not ship with third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Hosting, DNS, email, and backup providers we use to run the site will process data as needed to operate those services.
How long we keep it
The software retains quotes, answers, inspections, shipping, encrypted payout destinations, email previews, and audit entries until they are deleted from the database. There is no in-product automatic purge or self-serve deletion portal. How long the business must or should keep records is not decided by this software and must be set with legal advice.
Your choices
Email us at the address above about a quote or about personal information we hold. Rights that may apply where you live (access, correction, deletion, and similar) are not implemented as product features and must be handled by the business, with legal advice, when a request arrives.
Decision and payout links expire. If a link no longer works, email us with your quote reference. We will not tell you through an error message whether another quote exists.
