Why Clear Phone Offer
Most people who have sold a phone to a trade-in program have the same story: a good quote on the website, a much smaller number after inspection, and no clear explanation of the gap.
We are a small, owner-operated business. We can’t outspend anyone on marketing, and we’re not going to claim we pay the most. What we can do is refuse to be vague.
No mystery deductions
Every number we show you decomposes into line items. A base value for your model and storage, then each condition factor that moved it, with the amount. Nothing is rolled into an unexplained “adjustment”.
The same breakdown appears on your estimate, on your quote status page, and again if the offer changes after inspection — so you can compare them directly instead of being asked to trust a new number.
Example: iPhone 15 Pro · 128GB · Unlocked
- Base device value
- $420
- Light cosmetic wear
- −$15
- Battery health 80–89%
- −$20
- Estimated offer
- $385
An example, not a live quote. Your own breakdown is built from your answers.
What that means when you actually sell a phone
Descriptions, not grades
We never ask you to pick 'Good' or 'Fair'. Those words mean whatever the buyer decides they mean later. We ask for descriptions - 'light scratches visible at an angle' - so we're both looking at the same phone.
Declining is normal
If our inspection changes your offer and you don't like the new number, say no. We send the phone back at our cost. That option is on the page with exactly the same prominence as accepting.
Estimates expire honestly
Phone prices move. Estimates are valid for 7 days and then they stop being valid, rather than quietly hanging around until it suits us.
We only ask for what we need
Name, email, phone, and ZIP. No Social Security number, no bank logins, no ID documents. We don't need your IMEI to give you an estimate, so we don't ask for it.
A person reviews it
Every quote is looked at by the owner before we commit to buying. If something about your phone is unusual, you get a considered answer rather than an automated guess.
No manufactured urgency
No countdown timers, no 'offer expires in 10 minutes', no fake scarcity. If our price is worth taking, it's worth taking after you've thought about it.
